Booking and managing lessons

How students book open lesson slots, cancel bookings, and understand teacher availability.

Booking and managing lessons

Students have a dedicated Lessons area for scheduling.

What students can do in the lesson calendar

In the lesson calendar, you can:

  • view open lesson slots
  • book a slot
  • cancel a confirmed booking
  • see bookings for roughly the next two weeks
  • switch between your timezone and the teacher's timezone

Which teachers you can book with

Schools can set booking in one of two ways:

  • students can book only with their primary teacher
  • students can book with other teachers too

If your school limits booking to your primary teacher, you may see fewer available slots.

Booking a lesson

  1. Open Lessons.
  2. Review the open slots in the calendar.
  3. Select a slot and confirm the booking.
  4. After booking, the lesson appears in your upcoming bookings.

Canceling a lesson

  1. Open Lessons.
  2. Find your confirmed booking.
  3. Open the booking details.
  4. Confirm cancellation.

If you need a different time, cancel the booking and choose another open slot.

Linked lesson content

Booked lessons can also be connected to:

  • an interactive lesson
  • teacher or student attachments
  • scheduling links and lesson links

That means a booking may also give you quick access to related learning materials.

After booking, continue with:
